As advocates, organizers, and activists united across the U.S., we’re collectively building a healthy democracy and political power with Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American and Pacific Islander, and all people of color (BIPOC).

“We’re encouraged to see a network centering its commitment to race equity in a manner that we also aspire to model. The State Voices Affiliated Network has been a consistent source of knowledge and community, and we look forward to the extension of this fruitful relationship into 2022 and beyond.”
— Evan Milligan, Executive Director of Alabama Forward
State Tables work year-round with local and state organizations—their partners—to break down barriers to voting and advocate for access to resources. We invest in BIPOC leadership and organizing and advocate for a democracy where we can all thrive and live in our full dignity.
We do this to eradicate white supremacy and oppressive systems, and to create equitable systems and a true democracy in their place.
Explore our case studies to learn more about what this looks like in practice.
Through our Tools For All program, we provide civic engagement data, technology and expertise to over 700 national and state-based social change organizations in every state, regardless of whether it’s a State Table state or not.
By sharing these resources with organizations across the country, we create an ecosystem that is increasingly more powerful, equitable, and innovative.

“Prison gerrymandering is a problem created because the Census Bureau counts incarcerated people in the wrong place. It counts them as residents of a prison cell, rather than their home communities."
—@PrisonPolicy Communications Director Mike Wessler
Gerrymandering Denies Incarcerated People Fair Democratic Representation
The US Census counts incarcerated people as residents of prisons, not their home towns — with undemocratic results.

Our democracy is at its best when the people have the power to make their voices heard! We applaud the countless community members who worked tirelessly for years to build awareness and the Senators who voted to eliminate the two-year waiting period.
LB1402 ignores the will of the people. Nebraska voters should have a say!

"What I am most looking forward to about VAPLP & Pod 10 is being in community with the future generation of changemakers, learning what they are engaged in, and how I can expand my perspective to be a better advocate!" @ashlouwho
