Engage San Diego is building the capacity of its table partners through shared learning and individualized training. We enhance the power of the communities our partner organizations work with and build a nonpartisan voter mobilization effort to turn out disenfranchised voters using a strategy that ties civic participation to positive policy outcomes.

Civic Engagement: Use new technologies and approaches to communicate progressive values, policies, and messages; increase civic participation in San Diego’s underrepresented communities through organizing, policy education, Redistricting, and nonpartisan voter and civic engagement. Monitor the implementation of California’s Voter’s Choice Act as new Vote Centers are launched

Leadership Development: Enhance the technical and strategic capacity of Engage San Diego partner organizations through shared learning and training; develop a regional pipeline for civic engagement leadership
