Our mission is to develop, pass and utilize policies, promote a shared vision, and build power across organizations in order to allow prosperity to be shared among all Mainers. We aim to increase economic opportunity and to enable the traditionally marginalized and disenfranchised to have the access, resources, and power to live self-determined lives.

Democracy reform and voting rights: Build upon Maine’s successful passage of automatic voter registration, online voter registration, and absentee ballot reforms to secure equitable access to the ballot for every eligible Maine voter.

Civic engagement: Lead, coordinate and support our partners in developing strategic plans to engage and mobilize New American Majority voters.

Legislative advocacy coordination: Establish collective action around a common agenda at the state legislative level.

Capacity building: Support our partners’ efforts by providing data, program, and strategic expertise and guidance.
