Organization Overview

Civic TN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit civic engagement table of over 20 local-based organizations working to create a more accessible, inclusive, and representative democracy by amplifying the voices, leadership, and expertise of communities that have historically experienced deliberate barriers to civic participation.

Civic TN partners and staff share a vision for a just, equitable, and prosperous society that treats every single one of us with dignity and fairness; in which government reflects the race, class, and gender diversity of our communities and is a vehicle for addressing those challenges that need to be resolved collectively, and; in which vulnerable communities are able to exercise all of their human rights without fear, discrimination, or retaliation.
