Together, we can build a multiracial democracy that allows all of us to thrive and live in our full dignity.
The State Voices Affiliated Network is a nonpartisan network of 25 state-based coalitions called “State Tables” that collectively partner with over 1,200 organizations. Together, we fight for a world where every vote is counted, every voice is heard, and every need is met.
As advocates, organizers, and activists united across the U.S., we work together to fight for a healthy democracy and political power for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI), and all people of color (BIPOC).
Whether State Tables and their partners are running voter registration drives, sharing COVID-19 information with communities, or advocating for reproductive justice, we fight for the needs of our communities and know we’re strongest together.
All power should be with the people.
We must create a democracy where everyone counts, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality, or class.
We must create a democracy that enables everyone to have the resources they need to live and thrive.
We must center the experiences, voices, and votes of marginalized people to get there.
We collaborated with seven BIPOC artists, asking them to create art in response to the following prompt: “What does building BIPOC political power mean to you?”
Paid sick leave can also cover paid time off for people who may miss work due to experiencing domestic or sexual violence. This is important so that Nebraska workers have a job to return to AND ensures they get their usual paycheck to cover their expenses.

Today is #NationalPetDay! Here are some of our SSV pets!
Our first Youth Lobby School class brought together students from a diverse array of experiences to make their voices heard at the Nebraska Legislature and build leadership in our state.
"It is incumbent on donors to support BIPOC organizations on the frontlines of our movement. Our vision for a true multiracial democracy is achievable and philanthropy must play a consistent part."
