Pat Clark is managing partner of Jackson/Clark Partners, a Pittsburgh-based consulting firm specializing in community development, civic participation and cultural organizing projects. Pat has served as state coordinator of the State Voices Pennsylvania VOICE collaborative table since its development in 2005. Jackson/Clark Partners voter engagement projects include development of the nonpartisan Everybody VOTE electoral initiative, developed in partnership with State Voices and the Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network, and young voter programs developed and operated in partnership with the League of Young Voters Education Fund, which saw voter turnout increases of 29% in 2004 and 32% in 2006 in targeted precincts. Other Jackson/Clark projects include extensive community planning in a range of traditionally disadvantaged and post-industrial communities, non-traditional economic development and GIS market analysis programs developed for clients within the arts, community development and civic participation sectors. Clients include Progressive Majority, the Community Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, the Regional Equity Monitoring Project and Mayor John Fetterman of Braddock, PA. Before founding Jackson/Clark, Pat spent seven years with General Nutrition Centers as Director of Real Estate Systems and Analysis. He spent four years in artist management, working with clients including Hip Hop legends Salt-N-Pepa, and ten years in production and marketing of independent record, video and media properties. Pat has produced several video, record, concert and radio projects, including Go Go Live at the Capital Center, the seminal live performance documentary of Washington, DC's influential funk music genre.
