Sarah Saccany Zeller began as the Ohio Voice State Director in March 2011 after eight years working in Ohio politics and policy. A veteran volunteer and staffer on several local and state campaigns, Sarah has honed her campaign skills on the ground in the Buckeye state. Sarah also has worked in the Ohio Legislature and as a legislative liaison for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. She served as the President of the Ohio Young Democrats in 2007-2010, and ran the 2008 Young Voter Revolution campaign in Ohio. She was drawn to the work of the Ohio Voice table because of its commitment to creating long-term, sustainable infrastructure to efficiently coordinate c3 civic engagement efforts. Sarah strongly believes in the important work Ohio Voice partners do on a daily basis, encouraging those who are often not heard by decision makers to both vote and advocate on the issues that matter to them.
Sarah holds degrees in Political Science and Education from Bowling Green State University and is pursuing her Master's in Public Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University.
