Gregory T. Moore is one of the nation's leading voting rights and civil rights leaders who has a long and distinguished history of political empowerment and advocacy, dating back to 1982 serving in a number of leadership positions throughout his many years of issue advocacy at the state and national level.

Moore joined Ohio Voice as Interim Director in April 2010 and will work with Ohio Voice to build a strong Leadership Committee of participating table members and to solidify the table's framework for a successful 2010. He has served as Executive Director of the NAACP National Voter Fund since 2001, where he is responsible for the overall coordination of national programs designed to promote voter rights, election reform and issues critical to the NAACP and its branches, while also increasing voter education and participation among African Americans and communities of color throughout the US. Moore currently serves on the board of America Votes and chairs the board of Information Staffing Services, Inc.

Moore is also president of GTM Consulting Services, LLC, a Washington, DC and Cleveland, Ohio based political consulting firm that specializes in program development, public-policy analysis and election services. GTM's clients have included the NAACP, the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR), and the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation (NVBCP).

Prior to joining the NAACP NVF, Moore served five years as the Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for U.S. House Judiciary Committee Chairman, John Conyers, Jr. (MI-14th), was Deputy Political Director and Director of Voter Registration and Participation for the Democratic National Committee, was appointed one of the Founding Members of the National Rainbow Coalition Board of Directors, served as the Executive Director of the Citizenship Education Fund (the civic educational arm of the National Rainbow Coalition), and was elected the first African American President of the United States Student Association. Moore received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Communications, at Ohio University.
