Megan Van Ens

Megan Van Ens currently serves as the Executive Director of the Colorado C3 Roundtable.  The C3 Roundtable's mission is to pursue public policy change and encourage civic engagement for a more progressive Colorado by working collectively and collaboratively.

Megan Van Ens previously was the Progressive Majority Colorado State Director.  Prior to being State Director, she was Finance Director from 2006 to October 2007.

Megan came to Progressive Majority with over 7 years of political experience---working on all types of campaigns-local, state candidate races and statewide issue campaigns. She started her political career in Colorado while working for ten targeted state senate races for 2000.  She was part of the team that flipped control of the State Senate for the first time in 40 years.

One of Megan's favorite races was the Citizens for a Healthy Colorado Campaign. This was an initiative that raised the tax on tobacco products using the money for prevention and health programs. Megan led the outreach and field efforts for the metro area.  This statewide initiative passed by 62%.

Megan grew up in Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with two degrees---one in journalism and one in political science.
