Mission

The core purpose of MCEF is to educate, mobilize, and support the citizens of Michigan in the pursuit of a more prosperous life.  We work to assure an improved quality of life within the context of stronger and more secure Michigan communities.  MCEF’s successful history is rooted in educating the public  on issues that strengthen social, economic, and health security for all Michigan citizens.

MCEF has a long history of conducting successful voter education projects across the state of Michigan.  We are widely recognized as an organization capable of conducting strategic, multi-faced campaigns that combine extensive and aggressive activities in localities around the state within a coordinated, campaign framework.  Throughout our history, MCEF has built coalitions and managed the interests of diverse constituencies in pursuit of our mission to gain meaningful change in the lives of Michigan residents.  We build coalitions utilizing the Midwest Academy’s model, including its approach to recruit, plan, train and time our activities.
