Mission

Housing Colorado is opening doors all over Colorado.

We're working to educate, inform and advocate for affordable housing.

Affordable housing is an issue that affects everyone. Housing Colorado is the unified resource in the state for affordable housing education, information and advocacy. Housing Colorado was formed in January 2005 from the merger of the Colorado Low-Income Housing Campaign, Colorado Rural Housing NOW! and the Colorado Affordable Housing Partnership to create a stronger voice for affordable housing.

Housing Colorado works to shift the public perception and the policy environment while providing tools and knowledge to help meet the challenges of affordable housing in Colorado. Through the combined efforts of our growing network of over 6,000 professionals, we can generate a wider number and range of affordable housing opportunities. We come from all over the state, from many different walks of life, and with different expertise.

While we can all continue doing our part to make it better one family, one community, at a time, Housing Colorado provides a vehicle for bringing all these efforts together. Housing Colorado coordinates the work of all the people who care about affordable housing, ensuring we are making a difference. By working together and learning from each other, we have created a unified and influential voice for affordable housing.

Putting the passion to work, that's how Housing Colorado enriches Colorado communities.
